Note: These terms describe the use of the iOS app Tagwerk and this website. They are not legal advice.

2. Description of service
Tagwerk is a free iOS app for the private, personal recording and overview of working hours, vacation, and sick days. The app does not replace company systems, time clocks, or documentation towards employers, authorities, or insurers.
3. No advice
Contents of the app and website are not legal, tax, social-security, or employment-law advice. For binding questions, consult a suitable professional.
4. Private use; responsibility for inputs
You use Tagwerk at your own responsibility. You are yourself responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and retention of your entries — especially if you use them towards third parties.
5. Data and backup
Data are stored primarily locally. Optional sync via your iCloud (Apple account) is possible; the work location is not synchronised. Additional backup is via a backup export you trigger (sharing the file). Details: Privacy Policy.
6. Availability
The app and website are provided according to the state of the art. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability, specific features, or future updates. Features may be changed or discontinued.
7. Liability
Towards consumers, liability under statutory provisions remains unaffected.
Otherwise — to the extent permitted by law — the provider is not liable for damages caused by slight negligence, lost profits, data loss, or indirect damages, unless they involve injury to life, body, or health, or breach of essential contractual duties (cardinal obligations). For cardinal obligations, liability is limited to the typically foreseeable damage.
8. App Store
For download and licensing via the Apple App Store, Apple’s terms apply in addition. In case of conflict with Apple’s mandatory requirements, those prevail.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated when the app, website, or legal requirements change. The current date is stated above.
